Our Beliefs

At Eternal Vessels Covenant Church, our faith and ministry are founded on the Word of God. We believe Scripture provides the truth upon which believers should build their lives, while the Holy Spirit brings illumination and understanding of God's Word. Our desire is not only to know the Word, but to live it and allow it to transform every area of our lives.
The Word Of God
We uphold the integrity and infallibility of the Bible. Scripture is the foundation of our teaching and ministry, and the Bible remains supreme over every revelation and teaching. We are committed to sound biblical doctrine and to applying God’s Word meaningfully to life today.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is at the centre of Eternal Vessels Covenant Church. We surrender ourselves to His Lordship as vessels available for His will and Kingdom purpose, both now and in eternity. Our mandate is to continue His work and make Yeshua known to all people by all means.
Salvation & Winning Souls
We are committed to sharing the love of Elohim with people of all races, tribes and languages, helping people recognise their need for a Saviour and leading them to Christ. Our desire is to see people saved, transformed and equipped to make an impact on earth while living with eternity in view.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in allowing the Spirit of God to illuminate the Word, bringing understanding and helping believers apply biblical truth to their lives. Prayer and intercession are also central to our worship and spiritual life.
Discipleship & Spiritual Growth
We believe salvation should lead to continued spiritual growth. Through discipleship, believers are encouraged to discover and develop their gifts, become active participants in church life and grow into people who can serve both the church and their communities. We believe in mentoring and releasing ministers and empowering proactive Kingdom leaders.
Praise & Worship
We believe in worshipping God joyfully and reverently. Praise, worship, prayer and intercession are important parts of our relationship with God, and we seek to cultivate an atmosphere where people can encounter His presence and experience His work in their lives.
Christian Fellowship
We believe the church is a family. Fellowship includes sharing Holy Communion and creating opportunities for children, youth, men, women, couples and families to grow together in Christ. We value love, unity, integrity, loyalty, transparency and accountability within the body of Christ.
Evangelism & the Great Commission
We believe the church has been commissioned to go and make disciples. EVCC fulfils this through personal witnessing, cell and family evangelism, community involvement, crusades, revivals, joint ministry gatherings and the use of technology and other available mediums to spread the Word of God.
